The Aura and Chakras by Diane Morgan ©
19/04/2012 20:03For those of you who are just beginning their journey of Soul Growth I have added below two charts naming the energy centres found within the physical body, these are also called Chakra's. Another name for these energy centres is 'Wheels within Wheels' and they are named so because those of us who are able to see the physical energy field actually see these centres as vibrant, colourful rotating circles of energy. Each Chakra vibrates at a different speed and each has it's individual colour and also has it's individual function to perform. We will look at these in more depth at a later date as I just wished to introduce them to you so that you world better understand how the Auric Field is structurede and how it functions.
Our Auric Field is an electro-magnetic energy field which surrounds our physical vehicle. It can be very close to the physical body or it can extend many inches out from the body. It is my belief that he Master Jesus was so in touch with the spiritual aspect of himself, the Soul aspect, that his auric field extended many feet from his body. This would explain why many people claimed they were healed just by simply touching the hem of his garment (symbolically speaking this could have been the outer perimeter of his auric field.)
The seven main chakras are found within the auric field and run down the centre of the physical vehicle in front of the spinal column and are aligned with the hormonal (Endocrine System) organs, there are a further one hundred and twenty two minor chakras. Those who can see the aura see the colours swirling within the energy field, and those who are able to feel the auric energy field can tell where the energy is vibrant and where it is depleted. We need to have a vibrant aura to have a health vibrant physical body. (Remember the Ready Brek Boy - well that is how your auric field looks)!!!
So to be 'Holistically' vibrant and healthy one needs to feed the energetic/auric field, the physical body and of course the Soul aspect. We can feed the energetic/auric body by practising something like Yoga, Tai-chi, Qi-gong or even aerobics on a regular basis. Long walks in the fresh air are excellent ways to re-energise the aura. The physical body needs to have as good wholesome nutrition - as much un-refined foods as possible, do not over-cook your food, eat lots of salads and raw vegetables. Do not eat too much meat, especially red meat. Chicken and fish is easier to digest. For the Soul aspect one needs to find time to sit in the silence and allow thoughts to flow in and out of the mind, but do not hook into any one of these thoughts. Just let them float away and without effort or force you will find yourself sitting in the silence. Do not allow the 'chattering monkeys of the mind' to keep you from achieving the silence.
This is your ultimate aim - to be able to sit in the silence for long periods of time. For the power of creation resides within the silence between each thought. This is where we access all knowledge/wisdom.
A SIMPLE QI-GONG EXERCISE TO ENERGISE THE AURIC FIELD AND GET YOU CENTRED AND FOCUSSED FOR THE DAY
- Stand feet hip width apart, bend knees slightly.
- Hands at hip level several inches to the side of the hips.
- Twist upper torso from waist level with feet and knees and hips facing to the front (they do not move).
- Twisting from right to left and then reverse, allowing arms to swing in the direction you upper torso is moving and allow hands to make contact with the hips or the lower abdomen and lower back and tap the physical body.
- Do this 100 times at least.
- Try to do this each morning and/or evening before you exercise.
- Energises the auric body and also tones the physical.
- Now you can go into your asana's (exercises/yoga poses) - Why not try the Salutation to the Sun which I posted a few days ago.
