Christmas Eve - 24th December 2013
24/12/2013 17:01As I sit here alone, but not lonely, listening to traditional carol songs being sung, with my Christmas tree along with other festive decorations all glistening with their twinkling light arrays I give thanks for all the blessing that abound in my personal life. I give thanks for all those small things that go by almost un-noticed yet make so much difference to each day. I give thanks for my family and friends and the varying situations they present and we each work through together. I give thanks to each of them for the opportunities they present me with for growth, no matter how small. My mind drifts to the Nativity Story and the life of the Master Jesus who walked on the earth plane and lived through his trials and tribulations so that we would have the strength to live through ours and to grow from them. As I sit here in the peace and tranquility I pray for those who are less fortunate in many ways than myself and yes - I count my blessings and give thanks. May the spirit of Goodwill be with each of you throughout this festive season and may the love, light and power of the One be with each of you. Peace and Blessings.
